USNA Emergency Contacts

When you have a son or daughter serving in the military there is a protocol you follow in case of emergency (death or serious illness in the family, etc.). They cannot just leave as if they were at a regular university. If your family faces an emergency such as this, the Naval Academy will do everything they can to make sure your Mid is notified in a caring manner. It is possible that your Mid will be allowed to come home, depending on the situation.

Here are some important phone numbers to keep handy:

Main Office Bancroft Hall: 1-410-293-5001

In the event of an emergency you can always contact Main Office and they will route your call accordingly. This number is manned 24 hours a day, and should be your first contact.

USNA Command Duty Officer cellphone: 1-443-569-2180

Use this number only if for some reason the Main Office Bancroft Hall number does not work.

Chaplains Center: 1-410-293-1100

This is your second option, as it is not manned 24 hours a day, but they can help deal with emotional challenges or traumatic events.
